Below are shown just a few drawings of different pieces of equipment used in the manufacture of Black Powder from different times. 

The recording and drawing of this equipment is PRELIMINARY   & ongoing. Ultimately I hope will help people to understand  through a simple visual process to establish the names of the different pieces of equipment and to understand how they worked.

Black powder comprises Charcoal,  Sulpher & Saltpetre
