Redditch Needle mill

The Mill is a listed building which houses the original water powered machinery and is an unusual and intriguing place to visit. Virtually all of the machinery is intact and on certain days it can be seen running. The mill was still producing needles and fishing hooks until around 1958. The museum is absolutely fascinating and it is unlikely you could appreciate just how wide and diversified the range of their products was or even how many different types of needle there are.

The drawings only show a small part of the mill and then in most drawings only the inboard half of the roller beds for clarity
